BUDDHIST ROSARIES (MALA)
Many Buddhists use the rosary as an aid to maintaining meditative grounding (mindfulness) in daily life, asking for help and expressing gratitude, and transferring merit.
We offer rosaries made with gemstone beads or wood beads. The main beads are strung in groups of nine (108-bead rosaries) or six, fifteen, and six (27-bead rosaries). Divider beads of a different size and/or material from that of the main beads separate the groups of main beads from one another.
Most of the materials from which our rosaries are made are imported. The rosaries are assembled in the United States by monastic and lay trainees of North Cascades Buddhist Priory.
